This was 2 days before she got to come home. She was going to be in the CMH brochure. That flower has so much meaning for her & I. It helped in her recovery. She sleeps with it attached to her bed.
Her nurse Maria played with her so much, she helped get her motivated so she could get out of bed and try and walk. I was so tired, I tried not to leave her bedside the whole time she was there. Just waiting for her to wake up more then 10 minutes at a time. (she slept for about 23 hours a day, for about 3 weeks)
To see her smile like that brings tears to my eyes. She did an amazing job with all her therapy. She would get so mad at me for making he walk down the hall, I had to bribe her with the gift shop downstairs!
